September 2014 (Pregnancy Weeks 20 - 23)

Labor Day!

Daniel had been wanting to do these paddle boats so we took them around the lake on it!

Both kids started soccer - Katelyn's first season ever!

1st day of school!  Daniel - 1st grade and Katelyn is Pre-K 4!

We also were going to find out if our baby was a boy or girl and we were going to announce it at church on September 7th which is Grandparent's Day!

Daniel finished up his Reading Program - it was an amazing program and I highly recommend it!

So, he wore pink and I wore blue so no one could guess until they saw the announcement video!
Baby Bump - 20 weeks!

We also started hosting two connect groups - I did a women's group... Beth Moore Breaking Free  - AMAZING and we did a married couples life group as well!

Soccer!!!

She loved going to the doctor appointments with me!

She is completely obsessed with babies, her baby sister and being pregnant!  She is pregnant all the time and her babies are born all the time as well!

One of the greatest events of my life occurred - we were invited to Lake Placid, NY to go on a retreat through an organization called Sonscape!  I won't go into detail of what was involved in the retreat side but it was a whole week of Brendon and I being alone - I have never felt more energized physically, mentally and spiritually in my life before!

Lots of reading!

We did some incredible hikes!

Lake Placid hosted the winter olympics two times so there are lots of tourist attractions to go visit that have to do with that - it is also only one location of two or three in the country for training for winter olympics!

There is also an adorable time that is filled with cute shops and restaurants!

More amazing hiking!

Then one afternoon we did rock climbing - unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to do because of being pregnant!

There was this cute cabin where they made fresh maple syrup and you could just go in and buy your syrup and put your money in a jar and leave - it was all based on the honor system!

We got to have a fancy date night in down town Lake Placid at a steak house!

More Sight Seeing - ski jump training center!

At the top!

Bob Sled Tour!

More hiking!

Dude!  There were bears!  We got off this path ASAP!  I was SO SCARED!

Then it was back to reality - I felt like we lived at the soccer field with 2 kids on different teams!

Brendon got an amazing opportunity to go on a very posh trip to a Penn State Game!

Sunday evening we had a BBQ to attend as a send off for the Haiti missions team which Brendon was going on!
